Stinky is a hobo that lives in Springfield. He previously spent two years in Ogdenville and was the inventor of New Coke.
History
When Sideshow Bob got a new face Bart and Lisa didn't know what he looked like any more and tried to find him. They suspected that he could be Stinky so Bart dressed as a reporter and interviewed him and Lisa listened to the conversation. Because Stinky lies in a sentence Lisa thought he was Bob so they revealed him as not being a hobo. Stinky admitted that was true, that he had a home but hated his life because he was the inventor of New Coke and he needed a fresh start.
