Trivia
- The plot was later replicated in the "Zoo or False?" episode of Disney Channel show The Replacements. Todd, played by Nancy Cartwright (voice of Bart), was being cruel to the Monkeys just like Homer was only with bananas instead of a peanut. When the monkeys escaped, along with all the other animals, they went to get revenge, and Todd said "OK, listen. I said some things, you said some things. I flung some insults, you flung some poo, but we're OK, right?".
