Kent Brockman is Springfield's ace journalist. He does the daily reports for the News Hour on Channel 6, which the Simpson family usually tunes into. He is a devout reporter, and even after winning the state lottery jackpot of 140,000,000 dollars, instead of retiring he stayed on the air.
