Production

One segment will be a mashup between the film Freaky Friday and the Stephen King book Pet Sematary where Bart and Santa's Little Helper swap bodies. The episode will feature an argument whether Bart should be referred to as "Bart Dog" or "Dog Bart", which was based on a real argument between writers Tim Long and Jessica Conrad.[5] One segment is inspired by The Husbands by Holly Gramazio in which Homer goes into the shed and comes out as a different husband for Marge.[3]
