Alison Bechdel is an American cartoonist.
History[edit]
Alison Bechdel took part in the Chicks With Pix panel at Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con one month. She spoke about her "Bechdel test", which was an observation she made about how women in TV and movies were rarely seen talking about something other than a man. Marge mentioned that she should tell her husband about it, and Bechdel hit a button that started an animation on the screen showing Marge failing the Bechdel test.
Bechdel is also the author of Fun Home.
