Bongo Comics is the production headquarters for Simpsons Comics.

History[edit]

Matt "Tex" Groening took the readers on a tour of Bongo Comics. He showed them the room where the plots were written using the Plot-A-Tron 3000 and the writers' room. The next stop on the tour was the room where the artists drew the comic panels and pictures of Matt Groening. He then showed off the inking room, where the artists risked black lung disease, the coloring room, where they used endangered species to create the colors, and the lettering room, where Cecil Terwilliger filled the speech bubbles despite not knowing how to read. The final stop on the tour was the maximum-security prison where Bill Morrison and Terry Delegeane were locked up to approve the comics.
