The presidente's translator is the unnamed translator for the president of a South American country (except Brazil).

History[edit]

While making international calls across the Southern Hemisphere to investigate the Coriolis effect, Bart Simpson reached a Spanish-speaking government office where an aide translated his question for a local president. After the translator incorrectly interpreted Bart's remarks about toilet water as news that "the tide is turning," the president panicked, believed rebels were about to seize the capital, and immediately fled the building through a window.
