The volleyball coach is an unnamed coach at the Springfield Youth Center.
History
At the Springfield Youth Center, the volleyball coach supervised tryouts for a girls' volleyball team that Lisa Simpson attempted to join after being warned she was failing gym class. During the tryouts, Lisa attempted to return the ball with a bump, but the volleyball landed on one of her hair spikes and immediately deflated. Realizing it was the team’s only ball, the coach dismissed the girls and was forced to cancel the season.
