When Homer was at The Gridiron, two guys asked him what was the greatest XFL team that never won a championship. Homer answered, "The Long Island Iced Teas." One of the men then said that he thought Homer wanted the gay bar across the street, which was P.F. Wangs.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
The bar's name is a pun on the restaurant chain P.F. Chang's China Bistro and a reference to "wang" being a slang term for "penis".
