History
When Bart and Homer were searching for evidence on the Internet that could release Krusty from the International Court of Justice, they found a clip on MyTube from The Today Show where Krusty was drunk. Matt Lauer was conducting the show.[1]
Homer mentioned him being fired from The Today Show while talking to Marge about scary true stories.[2]
Matt Lauer was the senior baseball correspondent for BetBastards.com. After Moe incorrectly translated what Aeropos Walkov was saying in Macedonian to make it seem like he was happy, despite his actions not matching the words Moe was saying, Lauer said that he and the other sports journalists completely bought the explanation.
