Character Information

Mrs. McCormick is an elderly Irish woman who lives on Evergreen Terrace.
History
After Homer "borrowed" Ned's Sleeps by Dre noise-cancelling headphones, Mrs. McCormick warned Homer that dark times would come to Evergreen Terrace before the year was out. Homer just laughed at her warning and said that he enjoyed her dire portents. After Ned told Homer that he would never speak to him again, dark clouds appeared on Evergreen Terrace and Mrs. McCormick declared that the dark times had begun. Upon hearing this, Marge said that some days, she wished that Mrs. McCormick had never moved to Evergreen Terrace. Later, when Homer and Ned were having a car fight, Mrs. McCormick once again tried to say something, but Marge stopped her, saying she didn't want to hear it.
Behind the Laughter
Mrs. McCormick is a parody of the character of the same name in the film The Banshees of Inisherin.
