State Information

Iowa is one of the 50 states in the US. The capital and largest city is Des Moines.
History[edit]
After getting run out of Florida, the Simpson family tried to decide where to go for their next vacation. They looked at a map of the US that had most of the states crossed out, which were apparently all the states that the Simpsons were no longer allowed to enter.[1]
Marge read The Bridges of Madison County. The title and a major part of the story were about the covered bridges of Madison County, Iowa, with Roseman Bridge on the book cover.[2][3]
