History[edit]
One of the pictures in Joan Bushwell's "Serious Research" book is of King Kong.[1]
In a short film by Guillermo del Toro, del Toro mentioned that King Kong was one of the monsters that he loved.[2]
Peter Jackson had a poster of King Kong vs. Smaug on the wall of his office during the documentary Salt You Need Is Love.[3]
A replica of King Kong on the tower was at the Movie Memorabilia Auction.[4]
