[[Homer]] and [[Lisa]] encounter themselves in a Japanese land, with flowers with happy faces, rainbows and a town. Later, a giant [[Milhouse]] wearing a crown and big drums-like things in his ears appears from the water, saying he is the king of the land and is called "[[Mr. Dirt]]". Homer and Lisa walk up a path to a dirty brown river coming from a clean waterfall that leads to the town. Beyond the river, everything is dirty, including the floor, the houses and a giant toilet on a brown lake. The toilet has a big rock head shaped like that of Homer's. To free the head inside, Lisa has to find three lanterns and position them on their spots so they shoot a light to the head. She uses the "[[Hand of Buddha]]" to pick up the lanterns and also defeat the sumo wrestlers who come from the lake. Once all the lights are on their spots, [[Mr. Sparkle]] (the Japanese head from "[[In Marge We Trust]]") is freed. "Big Super Happy Fun Fun Game" is the fourteenth level of The Simpsons Game. To open the door to the creator's mansion, the Simpsons have to get the four keycards in the four worlds created by the creator. The fourth portal transports Homer and Lisa to a Japanese land and dresses them as Japanese cartoon characters.


Description[edit]

After the level "Bargain Bin" is completed, four more levels open up at the game engine. These can be taken in any order but, following the story, this is the next level.

Plot[edit]

Homer and Lisa find themselves in a Japanese-themed land with cheerful flowers, rainbows, and a small town. Suddenly, a giant Milhouse with a crown and drum-like objects in his ears appears from the water, calling himself "Mr. Dirt," king of the land. Homer and Lisa follow a path to a brown river flowing from a clean waterfall, leading to a village with a giant toilet in a dirty lake. Mr. Sparkle is trapped in a stone statue in the toilet, and Homer and Lisa free him. Mr. Sparkle tells them they must defeat three Sparklemon in different lands to clean Mr. Dirt's land.

Homer and Lisa head to the Land of Fire, where they find the lava well and confront Jimbo's Sparklemon, Ratachu. They defeat Ratachu and capture it. Next, they reach the Land of Ice, filled with cold water and icy floors. There, they battle Ralph's Sparklemon, Turdle, and win. Finally, they board a skyship to reach the Sky Well, where they prevent Sky Sumos from grounding the ship. They then face Sherri and Terri's Sparklemon, Dirty Donkey, and defeat it.

With all three Sparklemon captured, Homer and Lisa place the Sparklemon balls into the giant toilet, releasing Mr. Sparkle on a fountain of clean water. He cleans the village, causing Mr. Dirt to shrink back to normal Milhouse, who gives Homer and Lisa the Mr. Dirt keycard—right before the three Sparklemon attack him.

Gameplay[edit]

Xbox 360/PS3 Version[edit]

At the start, follow the path and jump across the bamboo poles in the river to reach Mr. Sparkle trapped inside a giant toilet. Locate the three Hand of Buddha ports around the giant toilet, each for a lantern. Use Lisa to reach each port, fend off any sumos, and place the soul lanterns. Check around each port for hidden items. Placing the third lantern will free Mr. Sparkle.

In the Land of Fire, head to the first Hand of Buddha and use it to set three logs on pillars. Move Lisa and Homer across, then use Homerball to knock down cracked pillars and Lisa's Hand of Buddha to fill lava holes with the pillars. Continue past lava obstacles, using Homerball for cracked pillars and Lisa's ice attack to create a bridge of frozen blocks. Reach Jimbo to activate the Well of Fire. In the Sparklemon fight, Start with the top attacks, then use the third attacks. Once Summon! appears, use it to finish off Ratachu.

In the Land of Ice, get to the helium tank on the left ledge. Use Homerball to dash and float to ice pillars, smashing each to break the ice. With Lisa, use the Hand of Buddha to position black pillars for a path to the Well of Ice. In the Sparklemon fight, Use the second attacks on Turdle to weaken it, then finish with the Summon! command.

Now the Sky Gate is open, and you'll need to head north. On the Skyship, use Lisa's saxophone to stun Sky Sumos and guard areas with shut-down engines. Keep moving between engines and re-stun Sky Sumos until the airship reaches the top of the meter. In the Sparklemon fight, use only third attacks to capture Dirty Donkey.

Wii/PS2/PSP Version[edit]

At the start, follow the path and jump across the rocks in the river to find Mr. Sparkle trapped in a giant toilet. Use Lisa to find the three Hand of Buddha ports around the toilet, each requiring a lantern. Defeat any sumos that get close and check nearby houses for hidden items. Once the third lantern is placed, you'll free Mr. Sparkle.

In the Land of Fire, use Homer Ball to knock down stone columns and climb up. With Gummi Homer, shoot the dead tree to split it, then use the Hand of Buddha to position the beams on the right, creating a bridge over the lava. Then, enter the Well of Fire to battle Jimbo.

In the Land of Ice, each the Hand of Buddha ledge as Homer, then use Homer Ball to bring down a stalactite and an ice column. Switch to Lisa, use the Hand of Buddha to place the stalactite and ice column into two holes to form platforms to climb up. Then, enter the Well of Ice to face Ralph.

On the Skyship, use Lisa's saxophone to stun Sky Sumos and move between engines to prevent shutdowns. Wait by a lever if Lisa's power is low, then continue protecting engines until all waves are defeated. Then, jump into the sky well at the back of the ship.

DS Version[edit]

At the start, jump on the red button by the bonsai tree, then use the cloud platform to cross the water and reach the Mr. Sparkle area. Defeat the dirt sumos, and Mr. Sparkle will emerge, asking for help to clean up the town.

In the Land of Fire, head right and press the red button to switch to Lisa. Use the Hand of Buddha to lift her to the first pink tower, zap the fire sumos, and place a lava rock on the vent below. As Homer, follow the pink towers left to reach a helium tank, float up, climb down the ladders, and press three red buttons to open the next door. Move Lisa to the Hand of Buddha and lift her to a high platform, then lower stalactites to create platforms for Homer. Move Homer to the upper-right area to find Jimbo and the key card. Use any attacks until the SUMMON option appears, then use it to defeat Ratachu.

In the Land of Ice, float to the right with the helium tank, defeat the ice sumos, and press the red button to switch to Lisa. Use the Hand of Buddha to position stalactite platforms on the left, then run across as Lisa, pull the lever, and switch back to Homer. Use Helium Homer to reach a platform above, float to the top, head right, and prepare for battle with Ralph. Focus on stronger attacks until the SUMMON option is available, then use it to end the match.

On the Skyship, go right and pull the lever to lower a helium tank. Float Homer up to the upper-left corner and press the red button to switch to Lisa. Use cloud platforms to reach the upper-left, hop onto the Hand of Buddha, and bring down the rainbow bridges. Clear the path to the airship, then use the Hand of Buddha to place the purple crate and pull the lever to advance. Move Homer to the deck, use the cloud on the left to reach the crow's nest, defeat the sky sumos, and grab the key card from the twins. Use powerful attacks from the start until the Battling Seizure Robot can be summoned, ending the match with Dirty Donkey.

The Turned Based Duff Trophy
  • Use the Hand of Buddha near the houses on the wooden platforms in the Dirt Village and lift the house to the right to reveal the Duff bottlecap.
  • In the Land of Fire, cross the first balancing log, turn right, and use Homerball's dash to reach a ledge near a lavafall.
  • Near Lisa's bridge of frozen sumos, look below for ledges and mushroom trampolines. Jump along the ledges to reach a bottlecap near the lavafall.
  • Homerball dash along the black cliff wall on the right side of the Well of Fire to reach a gray ledge. Jump to the highest purple pillar nearby, then dash to the next set of pillars for the collectible.
  • In the Land of Ice, Homerball dash up the steep snowbank on the right to reach a narrow white ledge and dash up the curve on the left to find the collectible at the top.
  • Use the first helium tank on the left side of the Land of Ice to float to a ledge along the left wall with a bottlecap.
  • Run to the front of the skyship and onto the yellow bowsprit to find a bottlecap at the tip.
  • Homerball dash up the skyship's mast to a gray platform with a collectible on it.

  • Use the Hand of Buddha near the houses on the wooden platforms. Lift the leftmost house and then the lantern to reveal the collectible.
  • In the Land of Fire, pass the first pillars Lisa lifts, then look left for a moving elevator platform. Use it to reach the collectible on a ledge.
  • Also in the Land of Fire, find the collectible on a pillar near the open lava pool before the frozen sumo section. Use the elevator platforms to reach it.
  • Freeze two lava sumos to create platforms leading to the collectible on the right near the Well of Fire.
  • By the Hand of Buddha where Lisa freezes sumos to make a bridge, look below for ledges and mushroom trampolines. The collectible is in the left corner near the ocean.
  • Find the collectible on an ice platform floating on the right side of the Land of Ice.
  • On a ledge on the right side of the Land of Ice, jump over a small pool into a niche in the ice.
  • Go to the back of the skyship and jump down to a platform with items, including the collectible.
