Level Information
|
The Game Engine is a level/hub in The Simpsons Game after completing the level Bargain Bin. It is where you go into the new Simpsons games being created. The main goal is to find the four key cards to unlock The Creator's Mansion.
Description[edit]
After completing the "Bargain Bin" level, Professor Frink upgrades the Simpsons' abilities. Homer gets the ability to turn into Gummi-Homer, who can shoot gummi grenades. Lisa's Hand of Buddha gains Lightning (to strike enemies) and Freeze (to freeze enemies that can be picked up and destroyed). Bart gets a wrist rocket with better range and damage, and a super cape that flies farther and longer. Marge receives the Mega-Megaphone, which makes her Blowback attack stronger. After these upgrades, four new levels open at the Game Hub.
Plot[edit]
Lisa and Bart are teleported into the game engine to find Professor Frink. They arrive at a factory with video game workers and green pipes leading to different areas. First, they enter the cartridge room, where game cartridges are made. Then, they go to the blood room, where the gory effects are created. Next, they visit the marketing room, where games are marketed and shipped. At the top of the factory is the stubborn ape holding Frink captive.
Above the factory is the cartridge incinerator, where the Simpsons stop Will Wright from destroying the 8-bit versions of themselves. Above that is the Game Hub, which holds portals to new Simpsons games and the gate to the creator's mansion.
