George is the husband of Martha.
History
After Homer had lost his driving license he accidentally beat George with a stick and George got mad at Homer. His wife Martha tried to get him to calm down but he replied that he would get a divorce, which made Martha happy.[1]
George attented to the Green Day concert, later, he was seen outside Krusty Burger when the Dome was lowered, and was part of the angry mob that stormed the Simpson home.[2]

He is parody of George Wilson, as played by Walter Matthau, in Dennis the Menace, a 1993 family comedy movie adapted from the comic strip Dennis the Menace.
