...If Homer Simpson Invented Golf! is a Simpsons Comics story in Simpsons Comics #63.
Synopsis[edit]
Homer reveals how he would have invented golf.
Plot[edit]
On a golf course, Homer says that golf wasn't as exciting as it was in the movies Caddyshack or Happy Gilmore and explains how things would be different if he had invented it. The changes he would have made include:
- Making regular holes into donut holes,.
- Making golf courses less snooty about their dress code.
- Replacing golf carts with the Batmobile, General Lee, and KITT
- Having less waiting around and more body-checking.
- Having less polite golf applause and more extreme golf dancers.
- Replacing water traps with beer traps.
- Making sand traps more "trappy".
- Grass would be replaced by rubber they make super balls with.
- Golf links would be replaced by pork links.
- All math would be gone.
- There would be miniature golf course obstacles on the golf courses.
- No more early tee times, unless you can play from bed.
- Things would have less embarrassing names.
- Tag teams would be legal.
- There would be less government regulation of surface to air missile launchers.
- There should be more robots with dog caddies.
This all turns out to be a dream as Homer got drunk in the bar on a golf course.
