'''SimpsonsFont''' is a special [[mw:Tag extensions|tag extension]] for [[Wikisimpsons]] developed by [[User:Cook879|Cook879]]. It allows users to make use of the [[:Category:Images - Simpsons font|Simpsons font]] images without having to use the file names or a template. 

== How to use ==
By using the <nowiki><simpsons></nowiki> tag, for example <nowiki><simpsons>Test</simpsons></nowiki>, will display <simpsons>Test</simpsons>. 

You can change the size by using the size parameter, for example <nowiki><simpsons size='10'>Test</simpsons></nowiki>, will display <simpsons size='10'>Test</simpsons>.
 
Letters can be written as upper or lowercase - they will be displayed as uppercase as the font only has uppercase. Numbers can also be displayed.

== Punctuation ==
The font currently has images for the following punctuation marks and all four can be used in the tag:
*<simpsons>!</simpsons>
*<simpsons>?</simpsons>
*<simpsons>(</simpsons>
*<simpsons>)</simpsons>

== Foreign letters ==
Though the font has images for Ä, Å and Ö they currently can not be added using the <nowiki><simpsons></nowiki> tag and will have to entered manually or through the [[:Template:SF2]] template.

== Adding characters ==
If anyone adds a new [[:Category:Images - Simpsons font|Simpsons font]] image please add a message about it on [[Wikisimpsons talk:SimpsonsFont|this page]] and the tag will be updated accordingly.
