Thailand (formerly Siam) is a country in Asia. Its capital is Bangkok.

History

Thailand, specifically Bangkok, is seen on Bart's globe.

While at the Springfield Post Office, Charles Montgomery Burns attempted to mail a letter to the Prussian consulate in Siam by aeromail and asked whether he was too late for the "4:30 autogyro." A postal clerk remarked that the manual did not list Prussia, Siam, or autogyro, suggesting that Burns was using obsolete names and methods.

While taking care of Mr. Burns' mansion, Homer makes a call to Thailand, at Burns' expense.
