Bart: C'mon, Homer, let us in!
Homer: Sorry, kids! I made a bargain with your mother--I agreed to go to church this Christmas Eve and, in turn, I get to practice an ancient Halloween tradition-- In olden days, village peasants gave half their candy harvest on All Hallow's Eve to the mighty king or else he'd destroy 'em with his army of zombies. So I'm keeping the legend alive by forcing you to give me half of your candy!
Bart: Except for the zombie part, that story really bites.
Lisa: It's an awfully convenient legend, if you ask me.

Homer: Hey, that isn't MacNeil or Lehrer, but this is even better! What th--? YAAAGGGH! No! No! This can't be happening! Some cleaver-wielding psychopath is mutilating that sweet, innocent donut! Gotta change the channel... quick!

Professor Frink: Good evening, Mrs. Simpson! I came here as quickly as I could! Hmmm... well, Mr. Simpson, it seems these bizarre transmissions are not being sent from any network source that I know of... ...Including The WB! This device of my own design -- [AH-HUM HOO-HEY] -- will trace and isolate the origin of the signal. I need to use the equipment in my truck to pinpoint the broadcast -- then we can decide how to disrupt it!
Homer: For heaven's sake, man, hurry!

Professor Frink: I'm getting something... woo hoy... [GASP]!
Professor Frink: [over phone] Mr. Simpson! The signal is coming from a live remote! Get out of the house! The show is coming from inside the house!
Homer: Wuh? GEEEAAAAGGH!!

Bart: This candy has Dad-sweat on it, but it's still tasty! Happy Halloween, man!
