History

Channel Ocho Studios remained on the air during the Springfield television shutdown ordered in response to Sideshow Bob's nuclear threat. As broadcasters across the city aired their final messages, one of the station's programs featured Bumblebee Man delivering a farewell to viewers. He thanked the audience for their support and concluded with a message of appreciation to Goya before the station's transmissions came to an end.
