Synopsis
After Homer ruins the family's washing machine, he and Bart and Grampa take the family's washing to the laundromat. Chaos ensues when Homer hands off the chore to Bart and Bart takes the opportunity to pull a prank which gets them into trouble with the laundromat's manager. Thanks to serendipity and quick thinking, however, Bart finds a solution which saves the day.
Plot
Bart, Homer, and Grampa go to Suds-N-Duds Laundromat after Homer destroys the laundry by mixing cement in it. Homer begins to wash, while Bart jealously looks out the window and sees his friends having fun. After Homer starts all the machines, he goes off to Moe's and asks Bart to dry the clothes when they are ready. Bart decides to have some fun in the laundry room. He fills a machine with a whole package of laundry detergent and the whole room begins to fill with foam. Grampa takes off his clothes and begins to wash himself, and Bart does the same thing with all of the machines. The children who are playing outside see what's happening, so they go in and start playing with the foam.
The owner, Raphael, comes and yells at Bart for what he did, but he defends himself by saying that he paid for the detergent. Of course, the machine is also broken but because he is only a child, he can't afford to repair the damage. Homer comes in and finds out what has happened, but he refuses to pay for it and think Bart will work off the debt. Then Disco Stu comes, planning to arrange a party there. Bart says it's okay, and charges $20 per head. The party starts and Raphael is pleased to get paid by Bart. They leave the room while the party continues. Homer is mad at Grampa when they leave, because he is still naked.
