Lurleen Lumpkin was a nobody living in a trailer until Homer heard her singing and turned her into a superstar.
Career
She is a country musician who is discovered by Homer Simpson while he was drinking at a bar. Tempted to have an affair with Lurleen, Homer has arguments with Marge. Ultimately, Marge and Homer make up and the show ends with both Homer and Marge watching Lurleen sing on television.
Other Apperences
She was only shown in one more episode when Springfield opened its monorail. When talked to by the TV crew, it had been found out she had just finished rehabilitation at the Betty Ford Clinic.
