Simpson family
The Simpson Family is one of the main families in Springfield. The first known Simpson was Sven. Many families have married in to the Simpson family and the Simpsons have in turn married into many. Through marragies such as this, it is possible to trace a link between one of the states richest and well-known family, the Burns'.
Family History
The earliest Simpson currently known was Sven. He married Claretta Ethridge and had two sons. One, Rupert, married an native American Indian, Winifred Running Goat. They had two sons and three daughters, including Trixie, who married Gaylord Stemple (this marriage is the Simpson link to the Burns family), and Garwood, who married Clowta Stillman. Clowta and Garwood had children, one, Howland, married Gabby Crouse. Their children included Lou and Tut.
Lou married Zoria Ovadia, who had Eckhardt, Bob and Twlya. Eckhardt married Griselda Johnson and they had four children. Twlya married Woody Schedeen. Meanwhile, Old Tut fathered Twitta, Elrita, Bonita and Orville Simpson. Orville married Yuma Hickman and they had Abraham Simpson and his many brothers. Abe had Homer with his wife, Mona and Herb with a women he met, who was later adopted by the Powell family. Homer married Marge Bouvier and had three children, Bart Lisa and Maggie.
