When Peter Griffin gave J. Jonah Jameson a photo of a woman's thong with Spider-Man, Peter told Jameson he had a whole subreddit of "superhero thong shots". Because of this, Peter was owed a favor by Jameson, which would ultimately be the publication of his comic strip, For Pete's Sake!.
