The Simpsons: Tapped Out Viking Homer content update is an upcoming content update set to be released the week b/August 18, 2014. It will include a new costume for Homer, presumably to be named "Viking Homer". A picture of this costume was released on Facebook on August 18, 2014, along with a description:

Has Homer devolved? Or is this just an elaborate ruse by EA to re-popularize the unibrow (or, as they call it, the mustache of the forehead)? Stay tuned and play Tapped Out this week to find out what’s going on!

This may include the 1 hour task added to the game with the previous update, "Play Clash of Castles".
