History

After Homer got a ticket for drunk driving, he was ordered to attend traffic school. Chief Wiggum showed an educational/safety film starring Troy McClure, where Troy said to the viewers, "You might remember me from such driver's ed films as Alice's Adventures through the Windshield Glass and The Decapitation of Larry Leadfoot."

Behind the Laughter

The film's title is a pun on the novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass, both by Lewis Carroll.
