The UK 2011 'Homer' edition.

The Simpsons Advent Calendar is an advent calendar with chocolate inside, released in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and Australia. The UK and Australia calendars are made by Kinnerton.

US calendars

Two US editions for 2012 also include chocolates for the countdown to the New Year.[1]

UK calendars

A Bart design was released in 2007. In 2007, a special edition featuring Homer skating on a lake with Maggie being held in the air and Marge looking worried, was a Marks and Spencers exclusive. In 2010, one of the designs was Bart snowboarding.[2] The UK advent calendars consisted of two designs in 2011: Homer and Bart. They were both 40g, the two 2012 editions are 60g. The only difference in the 2012 editions is the change in background: one edition has a blue background, another has a purple. There is also a "Simpsons Gift Advent Calendar" listed on Kinnerton's website. An 85g 'Surprise Gift' Bart design is also available, and was also available in 2011.[3]

Germany calendars

There are two 2012 calendars with 6 different designs between them.[4]

Australia calendars

The Simpsons was Kinnerton's best-selling character brand of 2008 and the three years before 2008.[5]
