The Springfield Speedway is a racetrack located in Springfield's bird sanctuary. The Simpson family once went there to watch the Monster Truck Rally starring Truckasaurus, which crushes their car. Lance Murdock was injured while performing a stunt at the speedway.^[1] Maude Flanders was killed at the speedway after being knocked off a grandstand by the ordinance of a T-shirt cannon.^[2]
