- The song was one of the few original songs performed twice. The first time was with piano and percussion in the episode and then was performed during the closing credits with full musical backup.
- This song was written by Michael Jackson, but due to contractual obligations, he was credited as "W.A. Mozart" on the album Songs in the Key of Springfield.
- Although Jackson did write the song and provide his voice for the episode, his singing voice was dubbed by Kipp Lennon once again due to contractual obligations.
