The 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics were an Olympics event that Abraham Simpson attended.
History
Grampa was in the javelin event. He threw a javelin and it almost hit Adolf Hitler, but it missed. It hit an assassin trying to kill Hitler instead.[1]
When Homer and Bart visited Grampa to do research about the Olympics he told them that he got the bronze medal in Beer Pong at the 1936 Olympics. In Lisa's movie about the olmypic she tell at the olympic flames was introduced in Berlin 1936 Olympics as a symbolic for Prometheus steal the fire from Zeus.[2]
