Agnes Skinner competed at the 1952 Summer Olympics, which were held in Helsinki.

The country has been represented by both Martin Prince and an unknown female at Springfield Elementary School's Model U.N. Club.

The Simpson family once went to Santa Claus Village, a Finland amusement park.
