History
The Haunt of Frightfulness was Bongo's first foray into the horror genre. Terror, mayhem and dread covered every panel. A senate subcommittee, however , found a scene depicting Patty and Selma using depilatory cream to remove unwanted facial hair to be so disturbing, they went on the pass a bill halting publication of the series and mandating counselling for alla children and adults who may have come into contact with this issue.
