This page is an official Wikisimpsons policy and must be followed. Failure to do so will result in consequences.

Only notable articles should be made. What is notable is described below:

Characters

• Named characters, no matter how minor, should have an article.
• Unnamed characters who play a decent part in an episode should have an article.
• Unnamed recurring characters should have an article.
• Named mentioned characters should have an article.
• Unnamed mentioned characters who have quite a bit of information revealed about them and are shown to have some relation to a recurring character could possibly have an article.

Locations

• Named locations should have an article.
• Unnamed locations visited by someone who is a focus of the episode should have an article.
• Recurring locations should have an article.

Vehicles

• Recurring vehicles should have an article.
• Named vehicles should have an article.
• Unnamed vehicles that play a big part in an episode should have an article.

Hit and Run

• All unlockable vehicles, hidden vehicles and important vehicles get an article. All vehicles just seen around do not.

Songs

• All background songs do not get an article.
• Songs written specifically for The Simpsons should get an article.
• Songs sang by characters that have had an emphasis put on them should get an article.

Cast, crew and guest stars

• All credited people do get an article.
• Individual band members, even if they are not credited, do get an article.
• Uncredited crew members can get an article only if they are confirmed by a reliable source to have taken part in the episode.
