Stephen Hawking (born 8 January 1942) is a British theoretical physicist, known for his work on black holes, theoretical cosmology and quantum gravity. He is considered one of the world's smartest men. Due to his neuro-muscular dystrophy, Hawking is almost totally paralysed and has to use a wheelchair to move around and uses a voice synthesizer to talk. He has made three appearances on the show as himself: "They Saved Lisa's Brain", "Don't Fear the Roofer" and "Stop or My Dog Will Shoot".
