Albania is a country in Europe. Adil Hoxha came in an airplane from this country to Springfield. Albania was also a country competing in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

After the conclusion of World War II, it was taken over by Communism and was part of the Eastern Bloc in Europe. During the 1980s, the Communist government sent in an agent, named Adil Hoxha, into the United States under the foreign exchange student program, more specifically Springfield, with the intention of leaking any equipment from its power plant to them. Although he technically succeeded in his mission, he was also busted by the FBI, although he was deported in exchange for an American Child caught in the Eastern Bloc spying for America.
