The Plucky Little Goat is a children's book written by Constance Clavinger.
History
Homer and Marge read The Plucky Little Goat to Bart and Lisa when they were younger.
In an effort to stop Springfield Elementary School from closing down, Mr. Largo and his boyfriend Geoffrey got in touch with Constance Clavinger and asked her to take part in a book fair at the school. Constance hadn't made a public appearance in thirty years, since she published The Plucky Little Goat. Constance had written a sequel to the book, The Further Adventures of the Plucky Little Goat, in which the goat got killed and turned into sausages.
