History

While Bart and Lisa were searching for Krusty at the Springfield docks, they went to The Sea Cap'ns Bait 'n Barg'n B'n and questioned Captain McAllister about the man they were looking for. McAllister initially mistook Bart’s drawing of Krusty for Handsome Pete, a small performer who danced for nickels. While searching the shop, Bart noticed a bounced check from Rory B. Bellows. The check had the same distinctive signature associated with Krusty, giving Bart an important clue that led him and Lisa to Slip 8, where they eventually found Krusty living under the name Rory B. Bellows.
