Synopsis[edit]
- Marge makes Bart and Milhouse go outside to play, where they decide to play Itchy and Scratchy.
Bart and Milhouse are watching an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show when Marge enters the living room and tells them to go outside to play as it's a beautiful, sunny day. Bart is annoyed, but Milhouse suggests that they play Itchy and Scratchy since they can't watch it. Bart agrees, but demands to be Itchy. They go into the garage to look through Homer's stuff for anything they can play with, finding a welding torch, claw hammer, and a can of gasoline. Milhouse then asks which Itchy and Scratchy they are, asking if they're soldiers, astronauts, or jazz dancers. Bart says that he's a talk show host and pokes Milhouse as he goes to tell him which version of Scratchy he is. After Bart pokes Milhouse, Milhouse says that it hurts and runs off crying to his mother. Bart watches him run away and says, "At least that was somethin'."
