Frinkventions! is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson: Suckerpunch.
Plot
Professor Frink presents his "Automatic Seat Spring-Up Provider".
Lackey (A) pushes doorbell (B). Sound of bell (C) causes watchdogs (D) to think an intruder is about. Pushing of button also releases agitated hounds from cage (E) by Frinkvention #310230 "Automated Hound Releaser" (F), the operation of which topples a precariously balanced rod of Plutonium 238 (G) which falls into tub (H). Tub water instantly heats to such a high temperature that thermometer (I) bursts, spraying red fluid onto canvas (J). Community College Art Professor with low standards (K) thinks this is post-modern art at its finest and gives it a thumbs up (L) lifting one end of teeter-totter (M). The other end (N) lowers rope (O) on pulley (P) which raises serving platter dome (Q) and reveals chocolate-dipped donut (R). Perpetually hungry power plant worker (S) begins drooling. Drool (T) drips onto desert-dwelling trogon bird (U) who naturally flies off to drier confines. String tied to bird's tail (V) pulls away trigger (W) that holds retracted spring (X) in place. Spring expands, forcing up seat of chair (Y) and propelling weak or elderly boss (Z) into standing position. Lackey may now expect gratitude in financial and other non-tangible rewards.
