Screaming Friends is an animated TV series.
History[edit]
After Bart and Lisa stopped watching The Itchy & Scratchy Show because they thought it was for babies, Bart started watching Screaming Friends instead. Bart said that the jokes were great, but he really loved the storytelling.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
Screaming Friends is a parody of the animated series Smiling Friends. Smiling Friends later responded to this by depicting a scene in the episode "Squim Returns" in which Pim watches a parody of The Simpsons, in which "Marge" asks "Blart" about what he's doing on his tablet, before "Blart" gets eaten by "Homer". Pim laughs, claiming that they're still funny after 487 seasons.
