• In The Complete Guide, this is mistitled as "Burping Contest".
• This short is referenced in the episode Lisa the Greek, when Lisa mentions that she and Homer used to have burping contests but she out grew it. This is a reference to Lisa's change in personality as in the shorts and first season she was a stereoype of a regular kid rather then a stereotypical smart kid.
