Football is popular sport played and watched in Springfield. Springfield has a baseball team that is called Springfield Atoms.

History

The Dallas Cowboys are Homer's favorite team, when he watched a game on Thanksgiving he told Maggie that he wanted them to lose by less than five points. Two people who played in the team were Mr. Kogen and Mr. Wolodarksy.

Homer watches CFL Draft. The episode discusses the Saskatchewan Roughriders, who had only scored four rogues during the season.
