Monroe Box is an isolation chamber.
Objective
A subject pulls levers to get heat and food. The floor can become electrified and water falls on the subject. Dr. Monroe need a baby to raise in the box, to prove that the subject should be maladjusted and harbor resentment towards him.
Behind the Laughter
The 'Monroe Box' is a spoof of B. F. Skinner's controversial Skinner Box.
