Synopsis[edit]
- "Homer tries to make up to Maggie by offering her the Moon."
Plot[edit]
Homer falls asleep in front of the steering wheel and Maggie, who is riding with him, wakes him up. Homer is shocked because they almost collided with a truck, and he hugs Maggie, who points to the moon when Homer says she can get whatever she wants. Homer tries to give Maggie other gifts instead, but she is not happy with them. Homer goes to Moe's and talks about his problem. Barney tells him that he can buy it from him because he won it from Neil Armstrong in a dice game. Homer buys it from Barney for a beer. Barney then signs a contract and gives the Moon to Homer so he can give it to Maggie. Maggie gets the paper and hugs it as she looks up at the moon, where she sees Homer's face.
