Due to the fact that she had already tried everything to fix the boy, Marge looked for parenting advice on Oogle, ending on Dr. Hoffman-Roth's website. Later, Homer and Marge attended a talk by Clarity Hoffman-Roth where she promoted his book, The Myth of the Imperfect Child. The book is based against low self-steem, and recommends parents to give their kids certificates, ribbons and trophies for achieving very simple tasks or doing absolutely nothing
