Peekimon Get is a mobile game featured Peekimon.

History

Lenny was playing the game at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and walked into the reactor core trying to catch a Rottata. After calling the game stupid, Homer started playing it, too, and got addicted. After he got sprayed by a skunk trying to catch Peekimon, Lisa started playing with him.

Many Springfielders started playing the game, too. After Phoebe Pratt went missing, Lisa gathered Peekimon Get players to help search for her whilst playing.

Behind the Laughter

• Peekimon Get is a parody of the mobile app by Niantic Pokémon GO.
  • The scene of Lisa and Homer going around the map is a parody of how Pokémon are caught in the game.
• The theme song is a parody of the first English Pokémon Theme.
• Some of the "Peekimon" in the game are obvious parodies of actual Pokemon, such as "Rotatta" being based on Rattata, Eevee(colored purple and red similar to Zorua), Quagsire (with Wartortle's features), Beedrill (colored green and also resembling Scyther), Xerneas, Kabuto (colored purple and sporting similaries to Lairon), a red dragon resembling either Charizard, Gyarados and/or Rayquaza, Grimer, Nidorina (colored green and also resembling Rhydon), Staryu (with a single eye instead of a red jewel-like "core" and features similar to Mareanie and Toxapex), and a green cat resembling either Meowth, Espeon and/or Gligar. Additionally, Maggie gains a pair of butterfly wings similar to Beautifly's, but colored purple like Venomoth's.
