Australia is a country on the continent of the same name.

History

According to Grampa, the Simpson's ancestors were kicked out of Australia.

The Simpsons visit Australia after Bart makes a prank call asking what way the water goes. Bart then leaves the phone off the hook, raking up a huge bill for them, as he made a reverse call. The guy sues him, and Bart has to travel to a court in Australia. He ends up letting Bart Junior (a bullfrog) free and this causes a bullfrog infestation.

Bart also sent a prank call here after he got his new cell phone, which belonged to actor Denis Leary.

When Mr. Burns was depressed over Bobo, Smithers arranged for the Australian population to join hands and spell out "Monty Burns" with candles.

The judges at the Monkey Olympics figure-skating event include an Australian, as well as an Italian, Hungarian and Frenchman.

When Lisa fails to show up to her Azerbaijan seat at the Model U.N. Club, Australia's and Belarus's seats can be seen.
