The Colosso-Boots are an invention by Doctor Colossus. They are extending boots activated by a button on Colossus' belt.
History
When Smithers was being interrogated by Chief Wiggum over the shooting of Mr. Burns, Smithers stated that Burns crossed the line between everyday villainy and super-villainy. Doctor Colossus, who was locked in a cell, interjected, saying that Burns was a rank amateur compared to himself, then attempted to use his Colosso-Boots to escape the prison cell. However, he just ended up hitting his head on the ceiling as it was too tough to break through.[1]

After Doctor Colossus deactivated his Ten-Inator, he tried to escape from the superhero kids by using his Colosso-Boots. However, he bumped his head on Brad Garrett's helicopter.[2]
