- When the Homer and Bart turkeys are running away, Clancy Wiggum says "Free birds! Skynyrd them!" a reference to the song "Free Bird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

- The buttons saying "Zip Zap Zorp" are a reference to a phrase Matt Selman says instead of "etcetera".[1]
